People, Machines, Designed, We're all living in the future yada yada

None of these are from really enigmatic sources just the usual channels. But, for some reason I'm blown away with the stuff in them this week.

"What they know" is a pretty nifty and well done explanation of tracking devices (of the software nature not james bond nature) cookies, beacons and yummiest of all flash cookies. One thing that was annoying was upon returning to the site for the second time I couldn't click around till I'd gone through the intro tutorial again. Come on I'm from the click first ask questions later generation.

This is a little too cutesy, but really interesting with the language and the fully wired house that will not doubt consume his family at some point

Jared Happy Birthday

32 \\//\\\///\\\\////

Friday, October 9, 2009

Hey Jared, what's up?
I'm just going to admit that you and one guy from South America are my only readers. Here's a video of me being pretty silly.

Every year the warehouse crew at fashion week in Bryant Park put on their own fashion show. I got roped into doing it. I had nothing to say on camera because I just showed up and had no clue what I had volunteered for. Anyway, too embarrassing for facebook.

Somewhere in the forgotten mountains...

from lake lacking élan vital...
In the forest deep...
does lie a rindle...

with a riddle...

In the mosses keep...
what creature does stow???
a beardless Gnome calls it home...

how does one ford the blood river?
the depths unknown...
ahh but the Gnomes staff of grace...

Did lead us back from our rocky peril...

I would like to thank the thesaurus and the ellipsis...

Atrocities of Graphic Architecture

Because I know a thing or two about Graphic Atrocities... Sorry I couldn't find higher resolution specimens. I'm sure you get the idea.

I was frequently confused as to which side was the front, however with the new speed lines it all makes sense.

I'd be crying too if someone took 10 percent of my paycheck.

I've worked here a few times, sometimes referred to as skin-a-ma-world. They told me they don't shoot porn there despite the rampant rumors, they also told me they used a ruler on the logo. Then they gave me a free T-shirt, true story.

Eventually this site may contain something besides weird links

Today's Advert Inovation Award goes to Miller. Their one second advertisements were kind of amusing. Plus Bill Murray says "it's Miller Time" in ghostbusters which is not as cool as saying "let's show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown" which I actually find occasion to say quite often.

If you really need advice on bonding things on a molecular level (I do once and awhile) look no further than thistothat.com

So like I said earlier I was part of a Jury we found a guy guilty of raping his ex-girlfriend's mom. One thing I will say for him though at least he didn't throw feces at us.
